Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before accessing or using the SafeRide mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Welcome to SafeRide, a tech-driven platform offering safe, reliable, and convenient interurban ride booking and digital ticketing services. By using our services (app, website, or other platforms), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

  1. "Company" refers to SafeRide Transport & Logistics Ltd.
  2. "User" refers to passengers or customers using the platform to book rides or services.
  3. "Driver/Partner" refers to individuals or companies registered with SafeRide to provide transport services.
  4. "Platform" refers to the SafeRide mobile app, website, or other digital interfaces.

User Eligibility

  1. Users must be at least 18 years old or use the platform under parental/guardian supervision.
  2. Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  3. Use the platform for lawful purposes only.

Booking & Payments

  1. Ride bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment or verification of payment.
  2. Users agree to pay the applicable fare, booking fee (e.g., 50 XAF), or subscription fee.
  3. SafeRide may use third-party payment processors. Users agree to comply with their terms.

Driver Subscription Model

  1. Drivers must subscribe monthly (e.g., 5,000-10,000 XAF) to access ride requests.
  2. Subscriptions are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
  3. Drivers who are subscribed are independent contractors, not employees of SafeRide.

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Users may cancel bookings under certain conditions. Applicable fees may apply.
  2. Refunds, where applicable, are at the discretion of SafeRide and may be subject to administrative deductions.

User Conduct

Users must not:

  1. Harass, abuse, or endanger drivers or other passengers.
  2. Use the platform for illegal or prohibited purposes.
  3. Damage vehicles or company property.

Driver Responsibilities

  1. Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and insured.
  2. Adhere to all traffic laws and customer service standards.
  3. Refrain from unprofessional conduct.

Limitation of Liability

  1. SafeRide is not liable for personal belongings left in vehicles.
  2. Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.
  3. Accidents or incidents caused by third-party negligence.

Data Privacy

SafeRide collects and uses user data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties without user consent, except as required by law.

Location Data

SafeRide may collect and use precise or approximate location data from your device to enable core features of the app, such as matching you with nearby drivers, providing navigation, and improving service quality. Location data is accessed only with your permission and is used solely for the purposes of providing and enhancing our transportation services. We do not share your location data with third parties except as required to fulfill your ride requests or as required by law.

Termination

SafeRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

Modify or discontinue services at its discretion.

Modifications

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes implies acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.

Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or the competent courts in the towns concerned.
